Peter Michell

Peter Michell is a Director and owner of Michell Wool Pty Ltd, a 125-year-old agribusiness. He served as Managing Director of the company from 2004 to 2014, leading its growth and strategic development. Peter is also the chair of the innovative AI marketing platform, Mortar AI.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Management (BA Man) from the University of South Australia and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and the Governors Leadership Foundation (FGLF 2000).

He was a founding Director of Duxton Water Ltd, an ASX-listed company, and currently serves as a Director of Mutual Trust Pty Ltd, Australia’s leading private bank.

In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Peter has a strong entrepreneurial background. He has founded several technology startups focused on agricultural technology (AgTech), IoT solutions, and malting and brewing innovations. He is also an active early-stage investor in startups across AgTech, artificial intelligence (AI), and renewable energy sectors.

Stephen Roux

Stephen is an experienced entrepreneur and investor, and the founder of Dragon Tree Capital Pty Ltd. Over the past 20 years, he has served as a Director for both listed and private companies across a range of industries.

Beyond Dragon Tree’s direct investment, asset management, and syndication activities, Stephen is a Director of Growth Farms, an Australian agribusiness asset manager with $750 million in farms under management, and serves as a strategic advisor to MDF Global, a leading mining exploration fund.

He is a former Director of the Australian Institute of Management and past Network Chair of YPO South-East Asia Global Diplomacy Network.

Geoff is a highly experienced executive with a proven track record in strategy, business transformation, and driving sustainable growth. He has held senior roles across the recycling, infrastructure, transportation, telecommunications, and energy sectors.

Most recently, Geoff served as Chief Finance & Growth Officer at Bingo Industries, following its acquisition by Macquarie, and previously as Chief Operating Officer. His past experience includes executive positions at Aligned Resources Group, QML, Transurban, AGL, Link Communications, and Arthur Andersen.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics, is a Chartered Accountant, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Thomas Krulis

Thomas is an experienced executive and advisor with a diverse background in law, investment banking, and corporate leadership. He led Godfreys, a leading electrical retail chain in Australia and New Zealand, through major transformations, including a private equity sale, buyback, and public listing.

Since 1997, Thomas has managed Loto Investments, his private investment firm, and served on the boards of companies including Petstock, Cheap as Chips, Whizz Technologies, and Star Discount Pharmacy. He also oversees a private impact fund investing in tech ventures across Australia, Israel, and Rwanda, combining global perspective with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

Shane Young

Shane Young is the co-founder of Petstock, one of Australia’s largest and most trusted pet care retailers. His journey began in 1991 with the purchase of a small stockfeed store in Ballarat, which, guided by strong family values and a passion for pets, grew into Petstock in 2002. Today, the business spans over 250 stores across Australia and New Zealand, offering quality brands, expert advice, and specialist services for pet owners.

Beyond retail, Shane’s commitment to animal wellbeing led to the creation of Petstock Vet in 2012, expanding into a network of veterinary hospitals and clinics. He also founded the Petstock Foundation, a registered charity that has raised more than $16.7 million and helped rehome over 41,000 rescue animals, while driving meaningful change in animal welfare and community support.

Dedicated to innovation and impact, Shane continues to lead Petstock with the belief that “pets are family”, ensuring the company remains focused on quality, community, and making a positive difference in the pet care industry.
